With the topic of women in sport reaching new heights in the media, the team have announced two new female athletes. Aimee an already established GB snowboarding legend who’s global appeal will be an asset in the new regions, and Imogen an emerging superstar in the climbing circuit, recently becoming part of the GB senior climbing team.
Aimee Fuller is a slopestyle snowboarder, competing all across the world in major competitions. At just 26 years old she has racked up a series of impressive results in her career.
She has won the Dachstein Pleasure Jam two years running, is two times British Champion and has competed in two Winter Olympic games. Aimee was the first woman to land a double at the X Games.
Imogen Horrocks is a competitive climber and a member of the GB climbing team. She began climbing at the age of 12 and went on to win the British Bouldering Championships at only 14, leading to her being selected for the junior GB team.
Now representing the senior GB squad she has travelled to Russia, China and Japan on the world cup circuit and has her eyes firmly fixed on the 2020 Olympic Games.
