Fuzion 100 are hoping to reach at least 5,000 students in 50 Schools and Rugby Clubs throughout the UK with their Initiative this year
Rugby Legend Jason Robinson recently visited two schools in the Surrey area with Fuzion 100 to launch their new Schools Initiative. Fuzion 100 created the Initiative as they wanted to educate and inspire school children about leading a healthy lifestyle, rehydration, the importance of being active, team-work, and leadership. The Initiative hopes to reach at least 5,000 students in 25 Schools and Rugby Clubs throughout the UK this year. Kingswood House School (Epsom) and Duke of Kent School (Peaslake) played host to Jason, who delivered a coaching session to students and gave an inspirational assembly.
As part of the initiative, schools will receive a Team-work and Leadership Workshop, and a Fuzion 100 ambassador visit to deliver an inspirational assembly to pupils, speaking about their life, their experiences and their healthy lifestyle. Pupils and staff will also get the chance to ask questions and have memorabilia signed.
Speaking at the launch Fuzion 100 CEO, Steve Barton said ‘Given the ferocious debate around sugar it is essential that any merging health-based product invests heavily in education as that’s the trend changing battlefield. Given our array of ambassadors we are truly excited to maintain a long-term commitment to our national school education programme.’
Head of Education and Schools Programme in Fuzion 100, Barney Cowie said ‘We are providing an unbelievable experience to school children that would not necessarily have ever had this opportunity before’.
